Use of oropharyngeal airway
♦ Open the patient's mouth and put the oropharyngeal airway until its end protrudes by 1-2cm
♦ Hold the lower jaw with both hands, place the thumbs of both hands on the flange, and push down at least 2 cm until the flange of the oropharyngeal airway reaches above the lips.
♦ Check oral cavity: lips, tongue.
♦ Reverse insertion method: that is, the pharyngeal curved surface of the oropharyngeal airway is inserted into the mouth toward the palate.
♦ Choose an appropriate oropharyngeal airway, lay the bed flat, and tilt the patient's head back.
