SH-03 Adjustable Elbow Joint Fixation Brace is a type of orthopedic device used to immobilize and protect the elbow joint. It is used to help protect the arm and regain normal function for people who have disabilities or limitations in their movements.
It is suitable for the conservative treatment of elbow joint medial and lateral ligament sprain, elbow joint dislocation and post-arthritis surgery or fracture surgery, conservative treatment of elbow joint and its soft tissue injury, post-operative stabilization of spastic neck, and lowers humeral segment fractures, postoperative rehabilitation of the elbow.
The brace consists of two metal bars that are connected by adjustable hinges. The bars are placed on either side of the elbow joint and secured in place with Velcro straps. The amount of movement that is allowed at the elbow joint can be controlled by adjusting the tension on the hinges. The brace can be worn for any length of time, depending on the severity of the injury or condition being treated.
